Denver trailed 13–3 early in the third, then scored 17 unanswered and walked out of Empower Field 1–1. The first half was a red-zone clinic in how to waste a good drive: outgaining Jacksonville 188–153, stuck at the 1 for a field goal, then Bo Nix picked in the end zone by Jourdan Lewis. Cam Little’s 44-yarder made it 10–3 at the break; his 24-yarder after the half pushed it to 13–3.
Then the script flipped. Wil Lutz’s 45-yarder cut it to 13–6. Riley Moss intercepted Trevor Lawrence late in the third. Nix found Nate Adkins for a 7-yard touchdown to tie it 13–13 with 11:47 left. Little hooked a 54-yarder. Jonah Coleman — in because J.K. Dobbins (10 carries, 36 yards) left mid-game and RJ Harvey was already inactive — punched in from the 3 with 7:21 left, then later picked up 12 on second-and-11 and stayed in bounds to kill the clock. Coleman finished 10/39 and a TD; Jaylen Waddle finally looked like the trade: eight catches, 138 yards, including a 49-yard leap to the 1.
Nix went 22-of-31 for 288, one touchdown and one interception (0 sacks, 97.2 rating); in the second half alone he was 11-of-15 for 132 and a score. Lawrence was held to 17-of-29 for 189, zero TDs, one INT, and a 63.7 rating as Jacksonville managed just 115 second-half yards (268 for the game). What has to stick: finish in the red zone early, keep Waddle involved, and sort the backfield — Thursday’s practice report upgraded Dobbins (hip) and Harvey (hamstring) to FULL; Coleman (ankle) is 2× DNP and now ESPN Questionable; Mims stayed LIMITED and is ESPN Q. Friday’s official game statuses are still pending this morning. Sunday Night Football still brings a Rams offense that just dropped 28 on the Giants, with Nacua still Questionable (hip).
