Denver trailed 13–3 into the second half — halftime 10–3 after a Jaguars touchdown and field goal, then Cam Little’s 24-yard kick made it 13–3. The defense bent but didn’t break; Riley Moss picked off Trevor Lawrence late in the third. The offense finally woke up: Wil Lutz from 45 tied the deficit at a field goal, Bo Nix hit Nate Adkins for a 7-yard touchdown to knot it 13–13, Little missed a 54-yarder the other way, and Jonah Coleman punched in a 3-yard score for the first lead at 20–13 with 7:21 left. Denver ran out the clock from there.

Nix finished 22-of-31 for 288 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. Jaylen Waddle had a big day (100-plus yards), including a key 49-yard catch and a late 29-yard conversion on third down. Coleman scored his first career touchdown. Lawrence went 17-of-29 for 189 yards, no touchdowns, one interception; Parker Washington caught 7 for 98. Attendance was 76,472. After a pitiful Week 1 opener, the vibe shifts to 1–1 with Sunday Night Football next.
